Cann Orchard invites you to slow down and revel in the beauty of the simpler things. Lazy summer days on a picnic rug. A muddy Autumn stomp. A crackling log fire. A long soak in the bath. An exceptionally-well brewed coffee. A good book. A day nap. Watching the birds come & go.

Accomodation

The sympathetically renovated Coach House Cottages at Cann Orchard are both beautiful and considered in design. Featuring vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, tumbled limestone floors & carefully curated furnishings. Well-equipped kitchens have been consciously designed to encourage the comforts of home cooking. Each cottage has an enclosed garden and outdoor seating in warmer months. There is also a communal decking area overlooking the pond with ceramic egg BBQ & outdoor dining area.

All bathrooms are stocked with Haeckles shampoo, conditioner and body wash. All linen and towels are provided.

Basic kitchen provisions include fresh ground Origin coffee, local milk and butter, our apple juice and good olive oil.

Cot & high chair available on request.
Dogs are welcome.

The Cottages

Russet is a spacious cottage featuring an open plan kitchen-living area with large sky lights, a characterful bedroom and en-suite. There is a roll top bath tub, large shower, built in wardrobe, private garden area and a log burner for the colder months.

Pippin is a cosy 2 bedroom cottage ideal for a family or 2 couples. The master king bedroom has an en-suite. The twin room can be made into a super king at request. The second bathroom features a shower over built in bath. The downstairs hosts a separate lounge room, large restored fire place with log burner in the kitchen and a private garden area with outdoor dining.

Bramley cottage features an open plan kitchen-living area, log burner, a large bedroom and en-suite. The en suite bathroom features a roll top bath and spacious walk-in shower. It has a private garden area which overlooks the lake where you can enjoy the morning sun.

Location

Cann Orchard is set amongst a small acreage with walking paths around the orchard and meadows and an old canal path, all brimming with birds & wildlife, it’s likely you’ll want to stay put – however, beaches, quaint Cornish fishing villages and the magnificent Southwest Coastal Path are all a short drive away.

Slightly further afield you can explore the majestic moors of Bodmin & Dartmoor, a firm favourite for Autumn and Winter walks and pub lunches.

The picturesque village of Marhamchurch and the historic town of Stratton are only 1 mile along quiet country lanes – each offering a village shop and traditional pub.
